All attendees benefited from the knowledge-sharing sessions. Ganapati Akadas, Director MSME DFO, Bengaluru, during his Inaugural Speech mentioned the importance of connectivity and how it is massively used by everyone across the nook and corner of the country. Especially financial transactions. In his inaugural speech, he said, “ Every street vendor is having a UPI payment option. From PoS to UPI, a unique technology that India masters in it. The whole world is now asking for this technology. This is a big achievement of digitization. Digitisation not only reduces corruption cases but also improves the economy through accountability by reducing hard cash transactions. The GoI, Ministry of MSME started the digitization scheme almost 6 years back. Even though it never launched fully until 4 years back, we had launched the 1st Phase, where financial assistance was given to Common Service Sectors (CSE), where they have reached even remote villages. This enables basic services like Birth Certificates, Death Certificates, PAN applications, and Passport services. In the next phase, we will be developing a Cloud Infrastructure which can be availed by every MSMEs at a very nominal cost. For example, ERP solutions will be made available for MSMEs. Right now due to the high cost of ERP solutions, many MSMEs aren’t able to purchase them. This scheme will be launched shortly. Now, every Government scheme will be online. For example, the MSME services will be available on www.mymsme.gov.in . Every scheme is available online. You have to just click apply and register to avail the scheme and benefits. The scheme also enables MSMEs to get all payments online directly to their account. It will be easy for MSMEs to get access to Market support and credit support. Im sure the knowledge shared in this event will enrich your mind from the domain experts and enlighten you that can help your business grow faster.”
