Vijay Kumar is the Founder of DigitalFort Technologies, a Consulting venture focussed on Cyber Security. DigitalFort is supported and mentored by leading Indian, US and Canadian start-ups and successful entrepreneurs in Emerging Tech. and Cyber Security. The team owns 14 US patents.
Besides being an avid marathon runner, Vijay Kumar is a technology enthusiast, consultant and inventor with 11 US patents across SMAC (Social, Mobility, Analytics, Cloud), AI/ML, Video/Media, Security and Blockchain. One of his patents is published on IP.com(US).
He began his career at Asia’s first Security Operation Centre (SOC) at Bangalore Labs (now 3D Networks). Later, Vijay was early member at McAfee. At McAfee India, Vijay was instrumental in starting the flagship DLP (Data Leakage Prevention) product engineering team post an Israeli acquisition.
Vijay consults, writes, trains and speaks on Emerging Tech, Blockchain, Cyber Security, AR/VR, IoT, Cryptocurrency and AI/ML across India, UAE and Europe. He is amongst first few in the world to formally speak on piping hot topic ‘Blockchain with AR/VR’ at World Blockchain Conclave (March 2019). Besides, Vijay has been panelists and moderator at Convergence India (a Ministry of Commerce – Government of India event) and at Dubai and Amsterdam FinTechs.
He has been invited to keynote at the Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad, PMI, Tata Group, Sony India, Aditya Birla Group, Mercedes Benz, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), ICFAI, CMR Engg, IFIM Business Schools, Bangalore & Hyderabad universities and various other conferences on AI/ML, IoT Security, Blockchain, SaaS, IoT, BIoT (Blockchain), AR/VR, Digital Disruption & Industry 4.0.
