Gramodhaya.in Launches Its First Vendor Onboarding Drive: Empowering Rural Entrepreneurs

On 7th March, a meaningful step was taken towards empowering rural entrepreneurship in Kerala as Gramodhaya, India’s first dedicated e-commerce marketplace for rural entrepreneurs – conducted its first Vendor Onboarding Program at the District Panchayat Headquarters, opposite Civil Station, Kakkanad, Ernakulam.

The event witnessed over 100 rural entrepreneurs from different parts of the district coming together with a shared aspiration, to take their businesses beyond local markets and reach customers across India through digital commerce.

A Platform Built for Rural Entrepreneurs

India’s villages are home to countless skilled artisans, farmers, food processors, and micro-entrepreneurs. Yet many of them struggle to grow their businesses due to limited market access, lack of marketing channels, and dependence on middlemen. Gramodhaya was created to bridge this gap. As a first-of-its-kind rural e-commerce marketplace in India, Gramodhaya is designed specifically to help rural enterprises showcase and sell their products nationwide while receiving the support needed to thrive in the digital economy.

Through the platform, rural entrepreneurs gain access to:

  • A dedicated online marketplace for rural products
  • Simple vendor onboarding and digital support
  • Logistics and shipping guidance
  • Better visibility and branding opportunities
  • Direct access to larger markets and buyers

The vision of Gramodhaya is simple yet powerful: Empowering Villages. Enriching the Nation.
