With an aim to share his global entrepreneurial experience in establishing Israel’s foremost telecommunications manufacturing group, Zohar Zisapel, Chairman of RAD Data Communications, is set to speak at TiE Entrepreneurial Summit (TES) on December 22, 2010 at New Delhi’s Siri Fort Auditorium.

Acclaimed by VON magazine as “the Bill Gates of Israel,” Zisapel has played a critical role in forging an Israeli high tech Silicon Wadi that is second only to California’s Silicon Valley in entrepreneurial prowess and innovation.  In a span of three decades, Zohar Zisapel and his brother and partner, Yehuda Zisapel, have established 29 start-ups, which, through IPOs and mergers and acquisitions, matured into companies valued at several billions of dollars. Many of the RAD Group companies have gone on to become core engines of the world’s leading telecom manufacturers, including Siemens, Avaya, Alcatel-Lucent, and Marvell. Today, RAD Group is comprised of thirteen companies with aggregate sales anticipated to reach $1 billion in 2010. Five of these companies are traded on the Nasdaq stock exchange: RADVISION, Ceragon Networks, Radware, RADCOM, and Silicom.

As part of his participation with TES 2010, Zohar Zisapel will co-chair a Keynote Panel and provide his invaluable insights into successfully establishing telecom manufacturing in Israel and also dwell upon his secrets of excelling in a challenging globally competitive marketplace.

Celebrating the spirit of entrepreneurship, TES 2010 will be addressed by globally distinguished personalities such as N. R. Narayana Murthy, founder-chairman of Infosys Technologies, and Amartya Sen, Indian economist and Nobel Prize winner.
