EdgeMakers to empower over 10,000 students across Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore by FY 18

Plans to partner with over 200 schools during the same period .

EdgeMakers, the San Francisco headquartered company that has developed the world’s first comprehensive learning system for Innovation and the related discipline of Entrepreneurship that is implemented at leading schools across the world, today announced that it plans to work with 10,000 students across 200 schools in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

The company plans to achieve the ambitious target by the end of the fiscal year FY18. The Founder of EdgeMakers, John Kao, was a Professor at Harvard Business School. He is a best selling author and advisor to Governments and Multi National Corporations.

 

The EdgeMakers learning system includes modules on Creativity & Innovation, Storytelling & Change Making, Design Edge, Character & Collaboration and Entrepreneurship. The EdgeMakers learning system is designed to empower students with the tools & skills critical to become Innovators & Entrepreneurs.  In India, EdgeMakers classes are delivered at leading schools in Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Udaipur.

Commenting on the India expansion plan, Ramit Bhatnagar, Country Head- India, EdgeMakers Inc., said “Over the next twenty years, advancement in artificial intelligence will lead to machines taking over most of the jobs that people do today. In order to create impact in this technology led world, students need additional skill sets & capacities that are not covered in the existing school curriculum. Presently, EdgeMakers has operations in 4 countries, including United States of America, Brazil, Colombia and India.
