Mahindra Navistar Truck, a joint venture from Mahindra and Mahidra Ltd and Navistar is specifically designed keeping in mind the Indian roads. Launched 5 years back this truck there is a revolutionary maxx force engine which is designed for better efficiency and performance. This engine also meets EPA and Euro Emission standards and so stands high in demand among small business owners.
The truck has been designed and developed by Mahindra incorporating some technical inputs of Navistar. Usually truck owners have to buy chassis from the company and have to get the coach built up separately. But MN25 rolls out as fully built truck as per buyers specification from the factory itself.
The truck runs on tweaked version of Navistar’s 7.2litre maxx force six cylinder diesel engine that churns out 210BHP at 2200RPM and produces 880NM of Torque. The engine has been optimized with 4 valves that helps attain this beast better fuel efficiency. It reaches top speed of 90 kilometer which is 10 above then what is allowed on Indian roads. The manufacturer also claims a complete compliance of BS-3 and BS-4 emission standards.
